From Thalapuzha 44th mile, take the road in front of Model Forest Office (Thavinhal Forest Office on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/MdLGZGYZx5kLK6m59)

Go straight till a small church point with Jesus statue on the top. 

1. On the way: There will be a Mother Mary statue

2. On the way: A newly constructed blue-and-white painted bridge

Take left from there till you reach the steep road up with the "Muneeswaran kunnu trekking" sign. (Makkimala bus stop and a small LP school will be on the way)

Take right and follow the concrete road till end and then last 200 meters of mud road.
